The Muscogee (Creek) Nation, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, installed air purifiers with bi-polar ionization technology at their nine casinos. The casinos followed the best practices laid out by the Gaming Operations Authority Board, the Health Department and the Office of Public Gaming. Purification is just one part of their comprehensive plan to keep staff and visitors safe.
“The installation of this technology offers our casino and resort properties a critical level of safety in combination with our extensive COVID protocols already in place,” said Muscogee (Creek) Nation Casinos Chief Executive Officer Pat Crofts in an article by Tulsa World.

Across all nine casinos, 560 bi-polar ionization air purification systems were installed. The opportunity for HVAC and IAQ professionals to assist the hospitality industry is trending in 2021. The businesses that are trained, skilled and ready to provide IAQ services will win this growing market.
Hospitality Industry Trends in 2021, Install Air Purifiers
Casinos are just one segment of the hospitality industry that has been decimated by the pandemic. The Muscogee (Creek) Nation casinos understands that installing bi-polar ionization purifiers and other IAQ upgrades are one way to differentiate their business from competitors. This is especially true now as people are more concerned about the quality of the air they breathe than ever before.
The hospitality industry knows customers want to feel safe in their indoor spaces. Equally important, businesses want their staff to feel safe and confident that the employer is doing everything it can to provide a clean environment. On top of all the new-normal safety protocols, going above and beyond to actively clean the air with active air purification achieves this.
Active air purification with bi-polar ionization is just one part of the indoor air quality solutions available. The process involves positive and negative ions seeking out and destroying pollutants in the air and on surfaces. Purification systems also help improve the filtration process.
